Lowes and home depot also provide cutting service. usually the first cut is free. best advice is to buy a whole sheet and have them cut it in half for you. plywood is such a versaltile material that you will probably find plenty of uses for the other half.. I don’t use this method too often, but i do use it. you see, home depot has a policy called “cull”. if a sheet of plywood or lumber is damaged, the rule of thumb is to discard it or reduce it by 70%. their process is to place it on the “cull” cart and let people take it on a first come, first served basis..
